Help the Women's Center of Beaver County
Last year Baden Academy's Take Action Club collected donations for the Beaver County Women's Center. The Women’s Center of Beaver County provides services that are always confidential and provided free of charge. They provide crisis intervention, emergency shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and prevention education.

After-school program |
Our Mission |
Take Action is an after-school club here at Baden Academy Charter School that goes on from 2:45 to 4:00 alternating Monday's.
What we teachWe use the We schools curriculum and we include a full calendar of action campaign ideas. Students will gain an understanding of the root causes of pressing issues like hunger, poverty and lack of education, and explore what they can do to help. The Take Action club also helps our students build their action planning, leadership, and visionary skills.
|
Our mission is to get young people to identify issues that are not just global but also local, we teach them ways to take actions and help change the world in their own way.
